The good: has two auto modes and you can set the speed. So it can really fly around or go at a slower speed depending on your cats athletic abilities. Avoids major obstacles, and has a remote control so you can drive it like a rc car. If it tips over, it will self right itself in auto mode and you can learn to do it with remote control. Switches between remote control and automatic modes easily from remote and can be shut off and set down quick in smart mode so if cat touches it it comes to life. Rear wheels snap on and off to clear any hair or debri. Works great. Super fun for cats. The only bad I have found with it is that it “sees” a narrow area in front of it, so can go under dining room table surrounded by chairs, hit a chair leg in the back and get trapped by the forest of legs. Same with the couch. Can get under our couches then get trapped.The good is if you have it in auto or smart mode and you see it heading to a bad place, just touch a button on the remote and drive it away from the hazard, then push the auto mode button on remote and it becomes a cat catching robot again.
