Just a tad bit smaller than other ski jackets of similar sizing. If you plan on layering a bunch under this i would go a size bigger personally. However i bought it as a spring skiing jacket since i tend to run hot and dont plan on wearing layers under it so for me i was able to buy the size jacket i normally would buy anywhere else. Overall though its an amazing jacket! Love the body vents, not mesh lining in the vents if your looking for that feature however. I also like the facts its not super long and has more of an athletic fit, at least in my opinion. The only con i see is it doesn't have an internal goggle pocket net thing. Oh and the inside isnt the soffest per say but i always wear a long sleeve base layer so i wouldn't ever notice anyways.great fit, construction shows attention to details. the complaints of big sleeves are unfounded; it allows for the jacket to go over your gloves and bind them with the velcro straps at the ends of the sleeves. removable ski skirt is great to get rid of unwanted jacket weight when doing other activities. only complaint is the exact gore text specification is not stated, only know that it's 3 layer but not sure of exact details.Great jacket, great fit, kept me dry during couple heavy downpour, wind-resistant. One of the must-have on my ski gear.Fantastic. only complaint is that he drop-in mesh pocket should be deeper. The photo shows a jacket with Gortex on the sleeve, pit zips, velcro on the cuffs - features of a quality ski shell. What we received was a lightweight rain jacket for OR that was not a $550 ski shell. Be careful.Awesome ski jacket. Material is soft and a little stretchy. Good array of pocketsThe construction is top notch. Expect to last a long time.love itThe picture was not a true representation of the product description
